ProBos is operated by Anvar Mekhraliyev, USA. This policy explains how we handle information in the current testing version of the app, on the ProBos website, and when you contact us.
Last updated: September 19, 2026. For support or privacy requests, contact support@probos.app.
No account, no cloud storage
ProBos works without an account. The current testing version saves your business workspace on your device and does not send it to ProBos servers. Cloud backup and synchronization between devices are not available in this version.
Your own device backup, such as iCloud or a computer backup of your phone, can include the ProBos workspace in the same way it includes your other apps. You and your device provider control that backup; ProBos has no access to it.
If cloud features are added later, we will update this policy first and ask before anything is uploaded. Nothing in the current version uploads your workspace.
Information you save in ProBos
ProBos uses the information you enter or save to organize your business. Depending on the features you use, your workspace may contain the following information. Enter other people's details only when you are authorized to use them for your work.
Payment features record transactions you enter. They do not process payments or request bank logins or full payment-card numbers.
- Client and subcontractor names, contact details, addresses, notes, and communication records.
- Projects, schedules, reminders, estimates, invoices, payment and expense records, and receipt details.
- Receipt and project photos, business logos, and document signature text.
- Business profile, license or insurance details, and app preferences.
Photos, calendars, and notifications
Camera and photo features use images you take or select. Saving a photo creates an app copy; it does not upload your entire library.
When you add a project to your device calendar, ProBos supplies its client name, service, time, and job address to the system calendar interface. Your selected calendar account may synchronize the event through its own provider.
Local notification previews may show reminder text, client names, project details, or invoice references. Control permissions and previews in device settings. ProBos reminders are separate from your device's Reminders app.
Receipt scanning
Receipt scanning runs entirely on your device. The photo is read with Apple Vision on iPhone or Google ML Kit on Android and is never uploaded to ProBos or to a scanning service. The recognized amount, merchant, and tax line are suggestions that you review before saving. Photos stay in local app storage.
On Android, the Google ML Kit library may send technical diagnostics to Google, such as device and library performance data. These diagnostics do not include your photos or the recognized text.
Optional sales tax lookup
Off until you turn it on. When it is on and you type a ZIP code for a client or an estimate, the ZIP code and the job address are sent to the ProBos server and its rate provider to find the sales tax rate: the Washington Department of Revenue for Washington, Ziptax for other states.
No name, contact detail, amount, or document is sent, and ProBos does not store or log the request. Cloudflare delivers the request and processes network information such as your IP address. You can turn the lookup off in Finance & taxes and always type the rate yourself.
A looked-up rate is an estimate for the place. Whether sales tax applies to your work is your decision.
Backups, exports, and sharing
Data Center can create a portable .cfbackup file containing your workspace, business settings, and saved photos. ProBos does not password-protect these files. Keep them in a location you trust.
Exporting documents or choosing email, calendar, maps, or a sharing option passes the selected information to the app, service, or recipient you choose. Reports can contain client details, financial records, and receipt photos. Those copies are handled under the recipient's terms and settings. Deleting a record in ProBos does not delete copies already sent or exported.
Website visits
Cloudflare hosts and delivers the ProBos website. It processes network information, including your IP address and browser requests, to deliver and protect the site.
This website has no submission forms, advertising trackers, or analytics scripts. Its code does not set cookies or save information in your browser's local storage. Fonts, images, and scripts are served with the site. This does not eliminate the technical processing required by the hosting service. Opening an external link takes you to that provider's service.
Support and beta testing
When you email us, we receive your address, message, and files you include. We use them to answer requests and investigate problems. Email service providers process correspondence to deliver and store it. Avoid sending passwords, full backups, or unredacted client records unless needed for your request.
The app can prepare a support email that already contains the app version, the system version, and an error code. Nothing is sent unless you send that email. From the recovery screen you can also save a copy of your stored records. It contains your business data, so share it only when it is needed to solve your problem.
TestFlight automatically shares crash and usage information with Apple and the app developer. Feedback and screenshots you submit are also shared. Depending on the invitation, this may include your name and email. We use this information to investigate issues and improve ProBos.
Service providers, locations, and security
Providers involved in the features you use may process information as described above. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law. Hosting, email, and other providers may process information in countries other than where you live; this policy does not promise storage exclusively in one country.
The current app uses device storage and system permission controls. Protect your device and exported files. No storage or transmission method guarantees absolute security.
How long information is kept
The current workspace remains in local app storage until changed or removed. Restore, Undo, and recovery can retain previous versions and related photos. Deleting a visible record may not immediately erase these copies.
We retain support correspondence and testing information while needed to address requests, resolve issues, and meet applicable obligations. Technical information may be retained by providers under their service arrangements and policies. Copies in your photo library, email, calendar, exported files, or device backups are managed separately.
Your choices and data requests
You can edit or delete supported records in the app, export a backup, and change device permissions. We cannot remotely erase a workspace stored only on your device.
To request access, correction, or deletion of information we hold, email support@probos.app with the subject ProBos privacy request. We may need information to verify your request and locate records. If information must be retained, we will explain why. Your rights may depend on where you live.
The current testing version has no account, so there is no account to delete. Removing the app removes the workspace stored on that device. Backup files, exported documents, and device backups that you keep elsewhere are yours to delete.
Business audience and children
ProBos is designed for business use and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact support@probos.app so we can review the situation and address the information we hold.
Updates and contact
We will update this policy when our practices change, including before any cloud feature is enabled. The date above identifies the latest revision.
