What ProBos is

ProBos is a tool for service businesses: clients, projects, estimates, invoices, payments, expenses, and receipts. It works without an account, and nothing in it requires signing in.

Your data stays with you

Everything you enter is stored on your device and is not sent to ProBos servers. The one exception is the optional sales tax lookup: when you turn it on, the ZIP code and the job address are sent to find the rate, and nothing is stored. The Privacy Policy explains this in detail.

Backups are your responsibility

Because your records exist only on your device, keeping copies is up to you. Create backup files in Data Center and keep your device backup turned on.

If the device is lost, or the app is deleted without a backup, ProBos cannot recover your records.

Documents, amounts, and taxes

ProBos prepares estimates, invoices, and reports from what you enter. A rate found by the sales tax lookup is an estimate for the place; whether your work is taxable is your decision. This is not tax, legal, or accounting advice. Check rates, totals, and documents before you send them.

Receipt scanning only suggests values. Review them before saving.

Payments

ProBos records the payments you enter. It does not process payments, hold money, or connect to a bank or a card.

Acceptable use

Use ProBos for lawful business only, and enter other people's details only when you are allowed to use them for your work.

Changes, availability, and liability

This is a testing version: features can change or be removed, and the app is provided as it is, without warranties.

To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for lost records, lost profit, or indirect damages that result from using the app.

These terms can be updated. The current version is always on this page and in the app.
